028/051 – Matchbox Scene: Christmas Market

These popular miniatures in the Matchbox are made in Seiffen since 1920. Earlier, the matchbox was intended more as a packaging for the miniatures. Later, furnishings and figures were placed in the boxes themselves.

This is how even today in lovingly handmade little stories made of wood. This matchbox shows the nativity scene under the stars.
